Random Musings on Friday

It’s finally Friday again so with that lets get random already.

Random Friday Button

A Visitor – My very first beach house guest has arrived! My cousin Torey, this is the first time we’ve ever really gotten to bond and I’m excited.

A Loss *my sister says this is gross so you might not want to just skipity do dah on to the next random thought – the toe nail of the smallest toe on my left foot fell off the other night. No it didn’t hurt (since I know you just wondered that in your head), that toe is not neglected during pedicures so I don’t know its issue is….so freaking weird.

A Conversation – If you read this edition of random Friday you know my daughter says Hey Momma before every. single. thing. she says. Like this…Hey Momma I’m going to make a circle….Hey Momma I’m going to make the circle red….Hey Momma I’m going to hang the circle on the fridge. So I tried to talk to her about it today, this is how it went: Me: You don’t have to say hey momma every time you want to tell me something. Her: Ok……(wait for it)…..Hey Momma. AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

New Blog Friends – Don’t forget to check out the awesome new girls on my sidebar, find out what happens when Megan walks by a homeless person in DC, why Eloise blogs anonymously, and check out Hallie’s version of We Can’t Stop by Miley Cyrus.

I guess that’s it, I usually try to come up with at least 5 things but apparently I don’t have anymore random thoughts today (until I hit publish anyway).

Now my favorite part of Friday #backthatazz up with Whitney.

  1. Hey Momma, just wanted to say hey... Haha I think that's cute actually. Just think, one day she wont say it and then you'll wish she did!

  2. My brother had one of his nails fall off... I think he hit it on something. Ouch!

  3. When he was Little K's age, Zac was a non-stop talker. I heard about everything 3 times. He'd tell me what he was going to do, then he'd tell me what he was doing, and then he'd tell me what he did. I used to think he couldn't breathe if he wasn't talking. Maybe Little K has inherited the trait!

I know it's annoying, but try to treasure it while it lasts. Before long, she'll be a teenager and she won't tell you anything.

  4. That's so cute! I'm sure it drives you bonkers though. So sorry to hear of the loss of the toenail, at least it was a tiny one! Thanks for the shout out :)

  5. I literally hate when toe nails just chip off without any reason ( and without hurting).
